Fazlul Hasan (1923\u20131991) was a Bangalore-based historian, lawyer, and civil servant whose pioneering work transformed the study of the city\u2019s past. Though not formally trained as a historian, he devoted decades to researching Bangalore\u2019s history, culminating in his landmark book, Bangalore Through the Centuries (1970).
